By offering scholarships through the LOMA Society of South Central Texas, we hope to achieve the following:

Ø        Promote interest and involvement in the society

Ø        Help with the educational pursuits of family members of a society member

Ø        Contribute to a larger segment of the community

Ø        Provide an additional benefit to society members through financial support

Ø        Meet the OSA scholarship requirement to sponsor a scholarship program for college/university students

$500 Scholarship Qualifications for  LOMA Society of SCT *Family Members

·      Have a Junior, Senior or Graduate student status as of Fall semester.

·      Be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours) for Spring and Fall semesters.

·      Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA

·     Pursuing an educational program preparatory to a career in the financial services industry.  (For example:  computer science, information systems, math, accounting, finance)

·      Have a record of academic success, however, a genuine interest in a chosen field and the ability to clearly express career ambitions are  more critical factors than high grades.

If chosen as the Scholarship Recipient, you must provide a recent photo for recognition purposes only and attend our November Fall Banquet.

*For the purposes of this scholarship, a family member is defined as a spouse, child (biological, step, or adopted), or a person to whom you are the legal guardian.
